DentaDue

Dental payment auditing

Understand how your dental claims were paid.

DentaDue compares payer remittances against your contracted fees and benefit evidence, so potential underpayments surface with the math and the source documents attached — not as a black-box alert.

Local proof of concept. The demo workspace contains only synthetic data — no real practice or patient information.

From remittance to recovered dollars

01

Import claim and payment data

Upload CSVs, X12 835 remittances, or PDF EOBs — or connect Open Dental read-only. Every source row is preserved with its hash and reference.

02

Review potential discrepancies

Deterministic rules compare expected payment to what the payer actually paid. Only fully-evidenced differences get a dollar figure.

03

Inspect the evidence

See the calculation, contract fee, remit lines, and source document for each finding — including what’s missing or conflicting.

04

Follow up and record outcomes

Confirm, dismiss, or schedule follow-ups. Record actual recovered payments separately — potential never masquerades as recovered.

Works with files today. Open Dental optional.

DentaDue is fully functional with file uploads alone — claim CSVs, contracted fee schedules, PMS postings, X12 835 ERAs, and PDF EOBs with reviewer-confirmed extraction.

A read-only Open Dental connector is also available: it issues GET requests only against an allowlisted set of endpoints, imports claims, payments, and reference data, and never writes back to the practice management system.

Evidence, not estimates

Payer estimates never become payment evidence; missing inputs stay open questions
